There are several ways how you can help get invloved with what we do at Smile Again Children's Encouragement (SACE). We strongly believe that we cannot create a long lasting impact without you. You can get involved by:

 

1. Volunteering with us :

We all year round welcome volunteers from every part of the world to come and work with us. What they share is the passion to make a difference for the children of Uganda. Whatever your involvement whether long stay or short stay, you will make hundreds of lives more meaningful in Uganda.

As we are a non-profit organization, there are volunteer fees needed, to help us cover expenses related to your stay.

  Administration Fee

-$200 submitted with application

  Accommodation Fee

– 2 weeks – $800
– 3 to 4 weeks – $1,000
– 5 to 6 weeks – $1,200
– 2-4 months – $800 per month
– 5+ months – $700 per month

The fee covers the following expenses:

-Pick up and drop off at Entebbe International Airport
-Food (3 meals a day: breakfast, lunch and dinner)
-Bedding and soap
-Projects
-Transport to and from projects
-Internet (for basic communication, not for downloading heavy files)
-Administrative fees

*Please note, this fee does not include laundry, leisure activities (trips/cinema/personal shopping), travel insurance, and personal phone calls.  It will be up to you to organize your own flights to Entebbe International Airport, visa fee ($50 USD), travel insurance and any spending money.

We ask that the full volunteer fee for the time you intend to volunteer with SACE be paid 4 weeks prior to arrival in Uganda.
